A new iPhone app for tracking addiction recovery has just been released.  After 9 months of design and development, iRecovery has been released to the Apple Store.. iRecovery is specifically designed for sex addiction recovery but can be used for tracking recovery from any addiction

This app goes with a book Gentle Path has slated for publication later this year called "Thirty Days to Hope & Freedom from Sexual Addiction: The Essential Guide to Daily Recovery."

iRecovery keeps track of daily and weekly recovery activities, taking into account where a person is in their recovery journey, i.e. their particular phase of recovery.  Their recovery activities are then charted week-by-week giving a visual depiction of their progress.   Alerts are built in to encourage users to give attention to recovery activities they may be neglecting as well as to encourage and congratulate users for consistent recovery behavior.

iRecovery can be fully customized by adding recovery activities that are specific to the individual.  It includes an affirmation section that also may be customized.   Additionally, users can add their Three Circle plan but using the designations "Healthy Behaviors (Green Light), "Dangerous Behaviors (Yellow Light), and "Forbidden Behaviors (Red Light).

The associated website for this app is www.RecoveryApp.com.  The banners on this site are not live and are just for demonstration purposes.   The website can also be accessed at www.RecoveryApp.com and www.SexAddictApp.com, www.AlcoholicApp.com, www.DrugAddictApp.com, and www.GamblersApp.com (also the .net and .org of these URLs).

Later in the year a version of iRecovery will also be released for Blackberry, phones with the Google Android operating system, iPad, and a standalone computer version.
A second app for sex addition recovery will be released in a few weeks.  It will also be available on the www.RecoveryApp.com website
